About Me

Before discovering her passion for Design and Illustration, Gabrielle pursued a career in Art Restoration by challenging herself to obtaining a dual Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Studio Arts. While taking a Digital Design class, she decided to change careers.. While finishing the coursework in Chemistry, she directed the rest of her classes toward refining her eye for design and improving her traditional drawing skills.

During this time she not only worked as a freelance Graphic Designer but also interned with the Egghead Student Advertising Agency. In this position, Gabrielle managed communications between multiple clients and Egghead’s team of artists and copywriters as a project leader.

Gabrielle believes that great design elicits the same feelings as a painting. It should not only embody the client’s needs but provoke an emotional response from the viewer. Her style is defined by bold, contrasting colors, the rare use of black and a tendency towards utilizing analog skills.

In early May of 2021, she graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City with two Bachelor’s degrees and the recognition of Summa Cum Laude. She currently pursues a career in Graphic Design while evolving her design skills and growing her illustrative body of work. She is always excited to grow and learn new skills.
